Japanese quartet fluent in traditional, western styles
A quartet led by Japanese artist Karin Nakagawa will perform a programme of original songs on traditional instruments at Ha Noi's Tuoi Tre (Youth) Theatre on December 8-9. Nakagawa plays a 25-stringed koto (Japanese harp), and has developed her performance style, a unique way of performing the rhythm with her feet.

Vietnamese tea culture introduced in Hanoi ancient quarter
According to the Management Board for Hanoi ancient quarter, specific cultural activities will be introduced in Hanoi ancient quarter from 9 a.m to 4:30 p.m on November 27th 2010 to mark the 5th anniversary of Vietnamese Cultural Heritage.

Taste of the World Festival to open in late December
The Taste of the World Festival will be held at the 23/9 Park in Ho Chi Minh City, from 26 December 2010 to 2 January 2011, in the framework of the welcoming New Year 2011 festivals.
